So uh, Where We At Right Now??

Hello World,

It’s me, and I’m trying to get used to the whole blog and updates thing.

I’m a guy who typically tells maybe two or three people what I’m working on, and even then it’s rare. I don’t believe it’s me being secretive for the sake of dramatic mystery. I wish, honestly. It’s more that my storm of a brain can’t stay focused on one thing at a time.

I’m using this update as an example, because here’s the truth:

I am currently leaping and skipping between four different novels and three different short stories. Oh and to add to that, all but one of the novels are first in a series, and that one standalone might not be a standalone (but I’m stubbornly holding on to the idea of it being one). Along with crafting a D&D campaign for a library program . . . yeah, it’s a lot.

However, I am determined to finish SOMETHING. It will take a lot of practice and dedication, but I am determined to hone in on one project and, at minimum, finish a first draft of a novel or novella. I’m also excited to complete a short story I’ve been sitting on for a while so I can submit it to a Sci-Fi pub. Acceptance or rejection, whatever, but I would love to be able to say I submitted to Clarkesworld. 😊

So I will update here. Ups and downs, progress and lack there of, whenever it comes up.
